I am writing a eBook on how to avoid being scammed when searching for an international wife.
If you have been scammed, I would like to know your story. I run a blog about the international marriage market. I am independent and not affiliated with any agency.
If you have been scammed, I can use your story. Write to me at michael[at]mailorderbridenews.com. If you feel uncomfortable with your name being published, we can use your first name only to maintain confidentiality.
Another site which I won't mention. [Singleconnections.com] I was contacted by a woman from Ghana. She immediately wanted me to use Skype to chat outside of the website, which I did. While we were talking I did a Google reverse picture search and found out she wasn't who she said she was. Luckily she never got the opportunity to ask for money, but she did ask for my login and password to the website as "she was shy and untrusting and wanted to see if I left the site". Once I found out it was a scam I immediately blocked and reported them and ran a virus check.
